Pranas T. Naujokaitis is an illustrator, writer, bookmaker, printmaker, and cartoonist.
His work ranges from all-age comics to slice-of-life autobio to handcrafted minicomics, with content ranging from kid-friendly to adult and heavy. He’s got a lot of stories to tell.
He has worked for such publishers and clients as First Second, Boom! Studios, Current Affairs, ComingSoon.net, and Blue Apple Books.
His minicomic Laffy Meal was nominated for an Ignatz Award for Best Minicomic.
He has a fancy-pants BFA in Sequential Art (with a not-as-fancy-pants minor in Creative Writing) from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
In high school he wrote a one-act play that was performed at the Kennedy Center. His mom still thinks it’s the best thing he’s ever done.
He lives in Chicago with his wife and two cats. He is living the dream.
